  • 10:00 - 11:00 Craig Ernster: Commodore Copy Protection - Copier vs The Protectors, focusing on the Commodore era of Copy Protection (Disk Protection, Codes wheels, etc.) and Copiers (Clone Machine, Maverick, Ramboard, Supercard, etc.,) from a user's perspective.

  • 11:00 - 12:00 Leif Bloomquist/Schema Factor: New mad science for the Commodore 64! Virtual Input Devices! Wi-Fi capabilities!

  • 13:00 - 14:00 Glenn Holmer: A gentle introduction to GEOS programming, covering the development environment, program initialization, and some of the main APIs.

  • 14:00 - 15:00 Jim Leonard/Trixter: Shattering Limits: How to bend an 8088 to your will for fame and fortune, minus fortune. A short presentation on how a group of old friends decided to spend over 2 man-years combining old and new programming tricks to win a programming competition. (The story of the 8088 MPH demo)

  • 12:30 - 13:30 Beth Lynn Eicher of The Ohio LinuxFest: UNIX 30 Year Time Capsule: We will watch the "UNIX" Computer Chronicles episode from 1985 and discuss the likenesses and differences in GNU/Linux today. Topics covered entail the desktop, standards vs choice, and killer applications.

  • 13:30 - 14:00 Evan Wright: "Hunting with the Wumpus: Programming a simple game in assembly on the Vic-20 and Sinclair." An overview of the tools you'll need to write, test and deploy assembly code on two computers, basic architecture concepts and what resources are available on and off-line.
